Whyte Competes in Rio

MOSCOW, Idaho – Former Vandal Angela Whyte competed in the 100-meter hurdles at the Rio Olympics on Tuesday morning, marking the third time that the Canadian has participated in an Olympic Games.

Whyte took sixth in the third heat with a time of 13.09 seconds. The top three athletes from each heat, as well as six at-large athletes with the best times, advanced to the semifinals. All six at-large athletes broke 13 seconds, with the final qualifier coming in at 12.99 seconds.

This marked the third Olympic Games that Whyte has competed in.
