MOSCOW, Idaho—The Vandal women’s tennis team got on a roll on Friday and did not slow down. Idaho sent Big Sky rival Eastern Washington packing with a 6-1 defeat at the Memorial Gym Courts.
Idaho (11-8, 5-2 BSC) broke a two-match doubles slump to start the match. Ana Batiri and Belen Barcenilla made quick work of EWU’s No. 1 pairing, opening with a 6-2 win. Lucia Badillos and Marianna Petrei recorded a 7-5 win on the No. 3 court, giving Idaho the early 1-0 advantage.
