FARMINGTON, Utah—For the first time this season Kennedy Warren has been named the Big Sky Conference Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference office Tuesday morning.
Warren was recognized for her offense earlier this season and was named the Big Sky Offensive Player of the week, but this week she is recognized for her defensive effort.
Warren, a junior, totaled 23 digs and 11 total blocks on the week in a series split at Montana.
The Weatherford, Texas native averaged 2.5 digs per set and 1.2 blocks per set to help lead the Vandals' defensive effort.
