The Idaho women’s basketball team closed nonconference play with an 85-49 win over Lewis-Clark State Tuesday in Moscow.
Idaho head coach Jon Newlee said he was glad his team came back focused..
“The first game after Christmas is always a hard game,” said Newlee in a news release. ” We had a really good start, but then we kind of lost focus.”
Idaho jumpstarted the game with six consecutive points from junior post Geraldine McCorkell. The Warriors made a brief comeback late in the first with a nine-point run, finishing with a one-point lead over the Vandals.
