JACKSONVILLE – The Idaho volleyball team (0-8) dropped two matches inside Swisher Gymnasium Friday, falling in three sets to Florida Atlantic (7-1) and Jacksonville (4-4) in the first two games of the Dolphin Classic.
Freshman Taryn Vrieling led the Vandal attack with eight kills and a .300 hitting percentage in a three-set loss to Florida Atlantic 25-17, 25-20, 25-23. Madison Wilson recorded six kills and three total blocks while Taylor Brickey delivered five kills and hit .556.
Setters Hailey Pelton and Kate Doorn supplied a combined 27 assists to help lead the offense.
