Box Score MOSCOW, Idaho – The freshmen jitters didn't last long on Friday night for Idaho volleyball as the Vandals came back to take the four-set victory over Cal Baptist. After dropping the first set, the Vandals rallied back to take three straight and earn the season-opening victory.
Avery Housley had a breakout performance with 16 kills on the night. In total, five Vandals finished with double-digit kills. Donnée Janzen recorded 57 assists on the night, taking over as the primary setter for the Vandals.
The Lancers came out strong, playing their second match of the day, and took the first set, 25-22.
