Volleyball Falls in Four to Montana State

MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho volleyball fell at home to Montana State in four sets, 25-20, 9-25, 12-25, 14-25 on Thursday night at Memorial Gym.

Taylor Brickey led the Vandals offensively with nine kills, as well as a team-high 10 digs. Miya Carmichael led the team in assists with 13.

Idaho earned an opening set win, 25-20. The Vandals raced out to a 5-1 lead to gain momentum. Montana State shrunk their deficit to 5-7 before Idaho extended its advantage with a 7-1 spurt to make it 14-6. Later in the set, the Bobcats managed to narrow the gap to just three points (20-23) but that's the closest they would come as the Vandals closed out the set.
