MALIBU, Calif. – A slow start was too much to overcome for Idaho volleyball, falling in four sets at Pepperdine on Friday night. The Vandals dropped the first two sets, but recovered to take the third, before falling in four.
Once again, led the squad in kills, finishing with 13. was outstanding, hitting .588 with 11 kills and just one error.
Idaho went point-for-point with Pepperdine to get the first set started, eventually getting level at 7-7. But the Waves turned things on from there with a 9-2 run to pull away, finishing with a 25-15 first set win.
