MOSCOW, Idaho – The exhibition season has come and gone for Idaho soccer, with the Vandals defeating Central Washington, 2-0, on Tuesday night in the Kibbie Dome.
"I saw great confidence on the ball. We moved the ball well," said head coach Jeremy Clevenger. "We were very organized defensively and we created a lot of opportunities. 22 shots in a game, you can never be disappointed with that."
The offense got going early, with Myah Merino firing in a long-range shot that beat the CWU keeper to put the Vandals up one.
