MOSCOW, Idaho – A second half flurry helped push Idaho (1-1) past Grand Canyon (0-2), 3-1, on Sunday afternoon at a blustery Guy Wicks Field.
"Conditions can be a little dodgy out here on the Palouse, the wind picked up today," said head coach Derek Pittman. "We knew we were going to be going against the win in the first half, we had to be able to survive that. I thought out players did an excellent job defending. We made the one mistake on the goal we gave up, losing our mark, but we'll fix that.
