BOULDER CITY, Nev. - Idaho women's golf shot 2-under as a team Sunday, and sits tied for fourth after the first round of the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown at Boulder Creek Golf Club. Danika Palm and Valeria Patino led the way, each carding a 1-under 71. Palm and Patino are tied for 13th, while seniors Sophie Hausmann and Michelle Kim are one stroke back in a tie for 26th at even par.
"I'm extremely impressed with how we played today," said head coach Lisa Johnson. "We got steady play all around and it's great to see some low numbers.
