MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho Vandals (11-16, 10-8) pulled away in the fourth quarter to win their fifth in a row by topping Portland State (5-21, 0-18) 64-39 Monday Night at ICCU Arena.
The Vandals used a dominant fourth quarter, outscoring Portland State 25-11, to cruise to a 25-point win.
Both teams had trouble getting shots to fall in the first quarter. The Vandals made just four field goals, shooting 28 percent from the field. Sydney Gandy kept Idaho afloat, scoring nine of her 14 points in the opening quarter.
While the Vandal offense still wasn't at full stride in the second quarter.
