MOLALLA, Ore. – Graduate student Laura Gerner and senior Valeria Patino are leading the Vandals after the first round of the Big Sky Championships at the Arrowhead Golf Club. As a team, the Vandals carded an opening round score of 20-over, 308 and sit in 5th place.
Gerner carded the best opening round for the Vandals, carding a 2-over, 74 to tee off the Big Sky Championships. The Utah native rallied on the back nine, carding a 1-under in her final nine holes.
