NUEVO VALLARTA, Mexico - Idaho sophomore Michelle Kim added another 73 to her opening 73 and is tied for seventh with 18 holes to play at the Hawkeye El Tigre Invitational. With her 146, she is just two strokes out of second and four out of first in the 54-hole event.
"Michelle continued her steady play today," coach Lisa Johnson said. "She continued to make great club selections and gave herself many looks at birdie."
Sophomore Sophie Hausmann is at 149 and tied for 18th after her 75 Tuesday as the Vandals are tied for 11th with a 612.
