MADISON, Wis.- Idaho women's golf finished in a tie for 14th Wednesday, at the NCAA Madison Regional, led by junior Sophie Hausmann's 11th-place individual finish. Hausmann finished at 1-under (72-71-72), recording the first sub-par score at a regional in program history. The Vandals posted a 41-over 905 (306-297-302), the program's best score at a regional.
"The team rose to the challenge at a big event on a golf course that played very long and was set up for a championship tournament," said head coach Lisa Johnson. "It was fun to see our team match up with elite competition and we did not back down.
