MOSCOW, Idaho – It was another slow start for the Vandals, but Idaho (6-4-2, 3-1-0) turned things on in the second half to take the convincing 5-1 win over North Dakota (1-8-2, 0-3-0) on Sunday afternoon at Guy Wicks Field.
"I thought it was good. It wasn't as sharp as we were against Northern Colorado, but I thought we went about our business the right way and we got the job done today," said head coach Derek Pittman. "I thought we were very focused, I'm really happy with that. Especially in the second half, we came out with the energy to get ourselves up by a few goals to finish things off.
