SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Another day, another great showing for Idaho track and field, this time at the Mondo Team Challenge in Sacramento. Both teams placed second overall, with the men narrowly falling to Sacramento State, 114-113. The women also defeated UC Riverside and finished second to Sacramento State, 157-95.
Chloe Woest won the pole vault with a new personal best of 3.66 meters (12-0.00) to move into second in the conference standings.
Zachary Short set a new meet record and personal-best in the discus to win the event, throwing 53.54 meters (175-8).
