LEWISTON, Idaho – Praise went to the defense Friday as the University of Idaho Vandals had their second scrimmage of the spring at Lewiston High School's Bengal Field – a change of scenary that seemed to fuel the front seven.
"The venue is different. It's just fun," coach Paul Petrino said. "They were excited for it. It was a really good night."
Particularly, he said, the front seven fueled by junior linebackers Kaden Elliss and Tony Lashley.
"Our big-time players played really good today," Petrino said. "The front seven played really well.
