led the vandals with 14 kills while hitting .429. As a team, The Vandals hit just .209 and committed nine service errors. Competition at the Outrigger Challenge concludes on Sunday for Hawaii and San Diego State.
Both teams took some time to get going in the first, as the squads traded points early on. The Vandals leveled the score at 18 late, but then Portland went on a 7-0 run to win the set 25-18.
