CHENEY, Wash.— Idaho women's tennis team no longer undefeated after being dealt its first conference loss, 4-3, at Eastern Washington Wednesday evening.
Idaho dropped doubles round, giving the Eagles the upper hand ahead of singles play. Season long partners, Marianna Petrei and Maria Tavares, captured Idaho's lone win at doubles No. 1, 6-3.
Down 1-0, Idaho fought for a comeback picking up three wins at courts one, two and three but it wasn't enough to hold off Eastern Washington. The Eagles added three wins to secure the match win, 4-3.
