MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho volleyball opened the 2021 season with a tough loss to Portland on Friday night in three sets. The Vandals will look to bounce back on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. against Nevada.
Allison Munday led the Vandals with 11 kills while hitting .360. She also tied for the team lead with two aces. Peyton Ely picked up 27 assists on the night.
Idaho got out to a quick lead behind an electrified crowd in Memorial Gym. Portland battled back and kept things close before tying things up at 14.
