Vandals Stumble Against Bulldogs

MOSCOW, Idaho – Two teams that have never met before certainly seemed to have some bad blood, as things got physical on Sunday afternoon between Idaho and Mississippi State. In the end, the Bulldogs were able to take the win, 2-1.

Mississippi State got on the board in the 15th minute. Avrie Fox made an unbelievable save on a header from Monigo Karnley, but Andrea Tyrell was there to bury the rebound. The Bulldogs would double their advantage late in the half on a similar situation. Fox made another huge save, but MSU's Hailey Farrington-Bentil was there to clean up and give the Bulldogs the 2-0 advantage headed into the break.
