Vandals Storm Back to Beat Hornets

MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho volleyball rallied to force a fifth set and ran away from Sacramento State in the decisive frame to win 3-2 (25-21, 21-25, 19-25, 25-22, 15-5) and improve to 2-0 in Big Sky Conference play Saturday, at Memorial Gym. Kennedy Warren led a balanced attack with 14 kills, and the Vandals (6-8, 2-0 Big Sky) punished the Hornets (6-8, 1-1 Big Sky) at the net to the tune of 15 blocks.

Idaho scored six of the last seven points in the fourth set to win 25-22 and stay alive. Avery Housley had six of her 12 kills in the set.
