MOSCOW, Idaho—Vandal women’s tennis clinched a spot in the Big Sky Tournament on Friday with a 6-1 defeat of Montana. The reigning Big Sky Champions improved to 7-2 in conference with two league matches left to play.
“It was important to come out and get the win today,” head coach Mariana Cobra said. “No we know we are in the tournament. We are excited to continue to build and improve over these last few matches in preparation for Sacramento.”
Idaho (13-8) continued to roll in doubles play. The Vandals took the point from the Griz, winning the first two matches of the morning.
