ROHNERT PARK, Calif.—Vandal women’s tennis got back to its winning ways with a 5-4 win over Sonoma State on Thursday. Idaho won four singles matches on the day to improve to 10-6 on the season.
Idaho’s first point of the day came in No. 3 doubles. Marianna Petrei and Celine Koets scored an 8-3 win to put Idaho on the board. The Vandals trailed, 2-1, at the end of doubles, getting beat out on the No. 1 and No. 2 courts.
Petrei continued to stay hot on the singles courts.
