MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho men's basketball team fell to Northern Arizona, 78-61, on Thursday evening. The Vandals (7-19, 3-12 BSC) fell behind early and the Lumberjacks (15-10, 9-7 BSC) claimed the conference victory.
THE GAME
The game began with both teams cold from the field. After Luke Avdalovic hit an early three-pointer for the Jacks, the teams missed seven straight shots before Marquell Fraser got the Vandals on the board. With 11:49 to play in the first, Idaho trailed, 15-11, but a 17-3 run by NAU put the visitors ahead by 18 and in control of the game with 4:33 remaining.
