LEWISTON, Idaho— Idaho women's tennis stayed perfect in Big Sky Conference play Friday when they upended Montana, 6-1, at Lewis Clark State college tennis courts.
The Vandals got off to a quick lead, executing wins at doubles No. 1 and No. 2. Partners Maggie Chen and Laura Spataro finished first, sweeping the Griz 6-0. At Doubles No.1, Petrei and Tavares captured their sixth conference doubles win, beating Montana 6-4.
The Vandals began singles action with a 1-0 edge. Petrei closed out her match first on court one with a 6-2, 6-1 sweep over Montana's Lauren Dunlap.
