LOGAN, Utah—Idaho men's tennis picked up their first win of the season with a 5-2 win over Utah State today.
Esteban Santibanez and Francisco Bascon-Per defeated Sergui Bucur and Roko Savin 6-3 in the first doubles pairing. However, Utah State would take the doubles point by winning the remaining two matches.
In singles play Easteban Santibanez defeated Roko Savin, 7-5, 6-2, to tie the match 1-1 overall.
After Javier Ruiz gave Utah State the 2-1 lead, Idaho won the remaining four matches to seal the victory 5-2.
Francisco Bascon-Perez defeated Sergui Bucur 6-3,7-6 to tie the match 2-2 overall.
