FARMINGTON, Utah (Aug. 6, 2024) – The Big Sky Conference office has announced its 2023-24 Team Academic Champions for the second time in league history, highlighting the top team academically in each sport the league sponsors. The Vandals tied Weber State for the conference-lead with four teams earning the title.
Men's cross country led the Vandals with a team GPA of 3.80 followed by men's golf with a GPA of 3.68. Women's basketball shares the title with Northern Arizona, achieving a team GPA of 3.63. The men's track and field team rounded out the awards with a final GPA of 3.
