JURUPA VALLEY, Calif. – The Vandals men's golf team sits in second place after the first day at the Joust at Goose Creek. In a competitive 14-team field, the Vandals are only six strokes behind first place. The second round of the tournament is suspended due to darkness. Play will continue first thing Tuesday morning, with the third round to follow right after.
Graduate Student Sean Mullan lead the way for the Vandals, carding a two-round score of 4-over until the late second round delay. In a tough 14-team field, Mullan fired in four birdies in his opening two-rounds to put him in a tie for 4th place on the individual leaderboard.
