SEDONA, Ariz. – The University of Idaho women's golf team currently sits in a tie for 9th place after the darkness delay at the end of the second round. Individually, junior Valeria Patino leads the Vandals with a score 9-over. Play will resume tomorrow at 8 a.m. starting with resumption of the second round.
"We will play smarter off the tee and take advantage of our scoring opportunities," said head Coach Lisa Ferrero heading into the final day on Sunday.
Patino's best round came later in the afternoon, where she fired in one birdie with one hole remaining in her second round.
