MADISON, Wis.- Idaho women's golf posted its first sub-300 round at an NCAA Regional in program history Tuesday, shooting a 9-over 297 in the second round of the NCAA Madison Regional at University Ridge Golf Course. Junior Sophie Hausmann led the way with a 1-under 71. Hausmann is tied for 16th on the individual leaderboard at 1-under (143; 72-71), the best 36-hole score at a regional in school history. The Vandals remain in 15th as a team.
Hausmann played her final nine holes at 1-under, including a par save on the final hole to remain under par for the day.
