PORTLAND - Three Vandals scored in double figures and held off Portland State in a back-and-forth battle to pick up a 66-62 road win over the Vikings in Big Sky women's basketball action, Friday.
The two teams traded leads in the first quarter before the Vandals took a 9-8 advantage on a layup by with 4:30 remaining in the opening frame. Idaho never trailed again, but Portland State never allowed the lead to get to double digits and tied the game at 30 late in the second quarter before Idaho took a 32-30 lead into the half.
