Three Vandals ran the offense with a sharpshooter mentality as Ferenz, Pierce and went 50 percent from behind the arc. The trio knocked down a combined 12-of-24 3-pointers. Marxen tied her season-high seven assists while adding eight points into the mix.
THE GAME
The Vandals dominated from the opening tip, but it was the second quarter where Idaho took complete control of NAU's fate. Idaho had a 32-24 lead in the second when Pierce put up the first out of four consecutive threes that sparked a 12-0 run.
