EUGENE, Ore. – Vandal hoops hit the road this weekend for an extra exhibition, taking on the Ducks of Oregon on Saturday to benefit the Red Cross. The game didn't go Idaho's way, but together the Vandals and the Ducks helped raise $17,465 for the Red Cross to help bring relief to those affected by the wildfires in Oregon.
Idaho stayed close with Oregon through the first half, but the Ducks pulled away in the second to take the 81-57 win.
Victor Sanders, still working his way back from injury, finished with a team-high 15 points on 4-of-9 shooting in just 10 minutes of action.
