MOSCOW, Idaho – A pair of goals from Morgan Crosby and an exceptional finish from Kayla Watanabe lifted Idaho (1-2) past Grambling (1-2), 3-1, on Friday night in the Kibbie Dome.
The Vandals took over early, controlling the ball for most of the opening minutes. The first big break came in the 13th minute, with Crosby netting a perfect shot into the top right corner of the net from 28-yards out. Bridget Daley got the play started, picking up the ball in the offensive third. She found Myah Merino, who touched it along to Maddie Haas, who then picked out Crosby.
