The University of Idaho women's golf team finished fourth at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational at the Kaneohe Klipper with a total team effort among a field with a host of ranked teams.
"It was a fun week," coach Lisa Johnson said. "The team performed at a very high level and improved each round. They worked relentlessly this off season and it's extremely rewarding to start the spring season with two top finishes."
The Vandals had rounds of 295 and 293 before playing their final 18 holes in 289 to finish at 877 – just three strokes out of Oklahoma State's 874 for second and two away from Washington State's 875 for third.
