WORLEY, Idaho – Kaylin Johnson was four-under 68 and Emma Heyman was three-under 69 to lead Idaho to and even-par 288 Monday, to close out the tournament in a tie for a seventh-place finish at the Eagle Invitational at Circling Raven in Worley.
The Vandals finished day one in eighth place but rallied behind Johnson and Heyman to move into a tie for seventh and finished just four strokes out of fourth place. Idaho's even-par round was the fourth-best round of the weekend for any team.
Johnson's four-under propelled her into a two-under finish for the tournament, good enough for a seventh-place individual finish, the first top-10 finish over Vandal career.
