SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif. -- The Idaho men's basketball team fell to Utah Valley, 45-83, in the SoCal Challenge on Monday afternoon.
Junior Trevante Anderson led all Vandals in scoring with 13 points, shooting 6 of 7 from the free-throw line. JeMeil King and Gabe Quinnett each added six points.
The Vandals got on the board with a layup from Anderson before the Wolverines went on a 23-0 run to extend their lead to 28-2 to open the game.
Quinnett hit back-to-back 3-point shots to end the half for the Vandals, as Utah Valley held a 46-21 advantage heading into the break.
