MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho ran into a scrappy Cal State Fullerton squad on Saturday afternoon, falling to the Titans in four sets.
Avery Housley and Kennedy Warren led the way with 19 kills each. Nikki Ball picked up five blocks and eight kills while hitting .357.
The first set needed a few extra points to decide a winner, with Fullerton eventually taking the set 27-25. The Vandals got out to a great start in the second, getting up by as many as six on multiple occasions. The Titans fought their way back, closing on an 11-2 run to take the set, 27-25.
