SACRAMENTO, California - The Idaho Vandals put up a good fight in their match against Sacramento State Friday evening. Following a late goal in the game by Sacramento, the Vandals fell, 1-2.
In the first half, a goal by Sacramento in the 38th minute put the Hornets up 1-0.
The remainder of the first half consisted of five shots by Idaho, and one save by Avrie Fox.
In the 62nd minute, Idaho's Savannah Foster tied the game, scoring into the top center of the goal. Foster is now leading in goals scored this season with a total of four goals.
