PORTLAND, Ore. – Idaho fell to the hosts, the University of Portland, in three sets on Friday afternoon at the North Portland Marriot Invite. There's no time for rest of the Vandals, with a tilt against Utah State scheduled for 4 p.m.
Kennedy Warren picked up 10 kills while hitting .333. Donnée Janzen led Idaho with 20 assists on the day.
Idaho got out to a slow start but was able to get back within two at 10-8 early. The Pilots went on a hot streak from there, scoring 10 of the next 13 points.
