MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho didn't get the result it wanted in the first game in the Cowan Spectrum this season, falling to Omaha, 89-80 to close out the non-conference home schedule.
THE GAME
Omaha got up by as many as 14 in the first half, but Idaho was able to battle back and make it a game at the break. got out to a tremendous start, scoring 12 points and grabbing four rebounds, but the Vandals trailed the Mavericks, 38-35, at the half.
The Mavericks came out hot in the second half, building their lead in the opening minutes.
