MESA, Ariz. – Idaho men's tennis fell to Arizona State, 4-0 in the first round of the spring break tournament Friday afternoon at the Kiwanis Tennis Center.
The Sun Devils took command of the match right from the start. and lost to Christian Lerby and Moritz Hoffmann, 6-1 at the No. 1 doubles position. Alejandro Salvador and were bested by Max McKennon and Spencer Brachman, 6-3, at the No. 3 spot as ASU clinched the doubles point.
In singles, the Vandals lost at the No. 6, 5 and 3 positions. Salvador fell to Brachman, 6-0, 6-1 while Duron followed with a 6-2, 6-4 loss to George Stoupe.
