BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Idaho Vandals dominated the first half, outgaining Indiana 170-110 and outscoring the Hoosiers 10-0 at the break, but Indiana battled back in the second half with 22 points in the third quarter points to topple Idaho 35-22 Saturday night at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington.
The Vandals came to play early with stellar defense, including two stands deep in their own territory and two turnovers, a forced fumble and an interception which helped keep the Hoosiers scoreless in the first half.
On the offensive side, Idaho looked impressive in the first half, including a 98-yard touchdown drive that culminated in a two-yard fly sweep touchdown for Jordan Dwyer, his second TD of the year.
