MOSCOW, Idaho – Despite getting down two sets to none, Idaho volleyball (1-2) kept fighting to force a fifth, but ultimately fell to Illinois-Chicago (4-0), 3-2, to close out the Idaho Volleyball Classic.
Head coach, shook things up for the final match, trying a new starting lineup. The shift paid off, with leading the way in kills with 16. , who didn't play the first two sets of the match, notched eight kills on the night.
UIC took the first set, 25-20, then ran away with the second, 25-14. Idaho got out to a dominant lead in the third and was able to hold on at 25-22.
