CHENEY, Wash. – A slow start to the second half doomed the Vandals on the road, as Idaho fell at Eastern Washington, 82-57, in a matinee game on Monday.
THE GAME
Most of the first half went back-and-forth as both teams found success attacking the paint. The Vandals were able to get within a bucket, at 27-25, on a floater by Cameron Tyson with under four minutes to play, but EWU closed on a 7-2 run to take the 34-27 advantage into the break.
