BOISE, Idaho – Idaho men's basketball fell to Montana in the opening round of the 2021 Big Sky Conference Tournament in Boise, 69-64.
The Vandals cut the deficit to just three with under 30 seconds to play on a bucket from DeAndre Robinson but the Grizzlies were able to knock down their foul shots and secure the win.
Scott Blakney led the way with for Idaho with 17 points and eight boards. Chance Garvin chipped in with 12 points on 4-of-4 shooting from beyond the arc and Robinson added 10 points.
