PORTLAND, Ore. – Idaho men's basketball struggle to get going on Saturday night, falling to Portland State, 69-53, in a Big Sky matchup.
THE GAME
The Vandals got out to a strong start, led by Trevon Allen with a pair of early 3-pointers. The score would remain close, with Khadim Samb leveling the game at 18 apiece with 11:03 to play in the first.
The Vikings went on a run from there, scoring the next 14 points over nearly seven minutes to build their lead. Cameron Tyson would end the run with a 3-pointer late in the half, but the Vandals would trail at the break, 40-23.
