YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- The Idaho volleyball team dropped a pair of matches at the Youngstown Volleyball Invitational on Saturday, falling in three sets to Youngstown State and Valpo.
"We lost our way organizationally, that led to the number of unforced errors," Idaho head coach Chris Gonzalez said following the match against YSU.
Freshman Taryn Vrieling posted double-digit kills in her collegiate debut against YSU with 13, while Delaney Nicoll led Idaho with 10 kills in game two against Valpo.
The Vandals dropped their opener to Youngstown State, 25-14, 25-22, 25-17 in their first match of the day on Friday at Beeghly Center.
